On April 19, 2017, the European Space Agency - ESA, in Villanueva de la Cañada, in Madrid through Michel Gerhard Breitfellner Astrophysicist, at the University of Vienna, Austria, Science Operations Engineer for Venus Express (2010-2015 ) and Mars Express (2015-present) and Miguel Pérez Ayúcar, Telecommunications Engineer, Graduate in Applied Science, Space Studies at the University of South Australia, Adelaide, Venus Express Scientific Ground Segment Manager (2011-2013) and Rosetta Science Operations and Planning Group Leader (2013-today), The European Space Agency ESA welcomed the educational institution European School of Santa Marta DTCH – Colombiathrough its Rector Dª. Claudia Beatriz Mosquera Guzmán, Mathematics and Physics, who managed before the ESA to be able to organize in Cooperation by the parties, a great educational event, of an international nature, in the field of Space Science and Astronomy, in Pro of Colombian Children and Youth, which was called: "The Space Agency as an educational instrument"

The European School of Santa Marta and Trafpol Irsa Internacional provide training on road safety and the importance of educating in said chair from educational institutions.
